I don't know a whole lot about computers, and predominantly got Lenovo ideapad Miix310  for light web surfing, taking notes, and reading news articles/PDFs while on travel, at conferences, etc. I wanted something light and small enough to throw in a larger purse, but also was more comfortable for typing than my phone or iPad 4. I also definitely did not want an Apple machine as a specific program I need to use does not work on Apple. The Surface Pro was very interesting, but I couldn't justify the cost since I have an Apple laptop and iPad (despite both being 5-7 years old are still kicking), plus a clunky work laptop and my SO's desktop, so it's not like I don't have other computing options in a pinch.

After researching and reading a bunch of reviews that I half understood, I settled on this Lenovo ideapad Miix310 . It's not a powerhouse, and if you need something more like a full laptop this might not fit the bill. However, for what I need it's perfect. I added on a 64GB card to expand the memory, and was able to figure out how to get it to work fairly easily. The keyboard is small, but I've gotten used to typing on it and appreciate the small size (might be helpful to turn off the tap=click for the mousepad, that's my biggest problem). It's heavier than the SP keyboard, but at the same time that makes it easier to use on my lap which is nice. So far it's booted up pretty quickly, and if you're careful with memory usage then it's fine (I'm mostly storing files on USB flash drives or cloud drives, reserving the computer's memory for actual apps). The screen is a bit shiny, but I don't really mind it. The sound also isn't great, but I don't plan on using this without headphones so again it doesn't really bother me. I'm not sure if this model is LTE-enabled. It has a slot for a SIM card, but I don't know if that means there's also an antenna installed or if they use the same slot for every model. Since I don't have an extra SIM card I can't really try it out.


There is so much I like about it, Lenovo ideapad Miix310  might be helpful to list what I don't like first.
What I don't like:
Lenovo ideapad Miix310 Charging. Seems like a design flaw but the charge cord does not want to stay connected. I have to really fiddle with it to charge, and even then if I move it wrong it will stop charging. The red light indicates it's charging, so make sure you see it. Also, why couldn't they just have this charge with a standard micro USB like my Android tablets and my phone? There's a special chunky cord for this one. I am not a fan.

Not much internal memory. I ran out of room QUICKLY. Had to use the SD card. This can be up to 64gb according to Lenovo. I only had a 32 on hand. But in my experience, sometimes you can use a higher card than recommended and get away with it. For instance my phone is a max 64gb card too, but I have a 128gb installed and it works fine. If you have a bigger card, try it. I certainly would. It won't hurt anything, at worst the machine just won't read it.

The SD Card slot is a big pain to get out. I had to pry it open with a toothpick. I really thought I was going to break it. There is no way to get at it without some sort of tool to help.

Small keyboard is a bit hard to get used to. Not necessarily bad because the keyboard has to be small... but I should note that I do not like typing on it too much due to the size. I would not use this to blog for instance. I constantly mistype words because my fingers are not used to being that close together. But on the flip side of that, having the integrated keyboard is amazing and makes this more useful than it would have been as just a tablet... my preferred use is for short emails and web searches and things like that.

Camera is nothing to brag about. 5 mp / 2mp respectively.

What I really like:
Battery life is INCREDIBLE. Watched Netflix for hours and still had a lot of battery left. So awesome!

Laptop and tablet in one provides more opportunity for use. Took this with me last weekend to the lake. Was able to check in at work and do some minor tasks that I couldn't have with just my phone. This thing is so much more portable than a bigger laptop. But you also get the tablet feature which is great. Touchscreen for both uses, of course.

Windows 10 is just like my laptop. It works and acts just like my laptop. There was no learning curve at all. Loved that.

USB Ports. This is so great. I can use a mouse!!! Or if I wanted to hook to my printer directly and print... I can. Or if I want to hook up my external CD drive.... I can do that too. And you get two ports.

Wow! I love DigiLand 10.1 tablet. It runs great. I watch a lot Hulu and net flix and it does a great job. The tablet functions smooth and is surprisingly fast. The only complaint I have is I wish the picture/screen quality was a bit better. But for how well DigiLand 10.1 tablet runs along with the awesome price I am very happy. The tablet also comes with a word processing app and it works great. With my Bluetooth keyboard.

DigiLand 10.1 Pros:
Cheap price
 Lightweight
Decent Processing
Somewhat smooth games (could be better but it's not bad)
 HDMI output
 Long battery life, lasted until the next day around the same time even after downloading, installing, and playing games on it for hours
Nearly all of my favorite apps were compatible, and with enough space to install them
 Good audio, clear and loud

DigiLand 10.1Cons:

 New condition was still refurbished, had a tiny scratch
Very bad low-res screen (this particular con outweighs all of the pros for me)
Didn't like the onscreen keyboard








I ended up returning it because of the screen. I have some screenshots of a benchmark test for it that I will try to add later if my review doesn't get rejected again. If you like having a clear easy-to-read display, then I do not recommend this tablet.

Winbook TW700 speakers aren't great but they are loud, and there is a Bluetooth connection, So no biggie.

Winbook TW700  is a true windows machine. Windows doesn't have a huge AppStore like Apple or The Google Play Store, but I don't think people buy windows products for apps anyways, so....
I would easily compare this to a Surface Tablet, kinda of a surface tab mini.
It is definitely worth the money. Because there are not a lot of apps, young children might not care too much for it, but you could use it as a learning machine!
It feels sturdy in your hands, once again, not like the other tablets at this price point.

I have been using Winbook TW700 since I bought it. The only negative I have is the speakers are bad, but headphones and Bluetooth speakers work well.
I buy my text books from Amazon Kindle. And I have found that I can use this machine for books and type on my iPad... or vice versa..
I am in love with the micro hdmi. My media player went out yesterday, I ran out to pick up a micro hemi to hdmi plug, and hooked it up. It is working well.

Toshiba Excite AT305T16 10.1-Inch 16 GB Tablet Computer this review cover all thing about tablet

DESIGN -
 Out of the box, initial impressions are very good. The tablet has a great solid feel to it, it's comfortable to hold, thin, and yes, even light weight. The back has a hard, smooth, plastic feel to it - although I hear its aluminum. If so, it probably has some type of coating on it. Basically, it's one nice looking tablet.
So your hand will frequently rub against the sharp inside edges of the plastic casing. I'm normally not a big fan of plastic covers, but in this instance, it would have been very nice to have. If you're planning on getting a case, this won't likely be an issue.

WIRELESS -

I've tested both wireless and GPS extensively and found them to both perform very well. I'm able to maintain a solid WiFi connection even at the furthest reaches of my Access Point. And GPS can actually pick up a few satellite in-doors, which is always impressive. Outside I can get accuracy down to less than 18ft, within 1-2 minutes. This of course was verified with the GPS Test application.

PERFORMANCE-

Overall the device is very snappy and I haven't had any issues that I didn't run into with the other Tegra3 devices on Android 4.0.3. There are still a few occasional bugs or glitches with ICS, which I hope they'll resolve soon. Otherwise, nothing specific to the AT305.
Until they have some new benchmarks that really take advange of the quad core CPU and Tegra3, they're just something to give you interesting numbers to look at. :) Real world tests are where it's at. Speaking of which, playing Tegra 3 games is smooth and they all run expectedly nice. Surfing the web, running apps, and other such tasks are all as expected. Quite good.

After watching movies and playing games, I got temps as high as 93 degrees on the back, right side. This was determined by my infrared thermometer. It's not as cool as the 85 degree TF201 but also nowhere near the 106+ degree A510. So I consider that to be on the warm side, but not uncomfortably so. I think the material on the back Toshiba uses helps to dissipate the heat so it doesn't "feel" hot or uncomfortable.

While surfing or running normal apps, the temps were staying in the 80's where it should be.

DISPLAY:

Starting positive here, the LCD does look very nice. In fact, of the TF201 and A510, it's the nicest I've seen. Even though it's not IPS (it's TFT as I recall), it looks great. The images are very crisp, colors are vibrant, and it has surprisingly good contrast ratio. The best part is that they've found a very nice color temperature balance.

While the A510 was very cool and the TF201 was on the warm side, I found the AT305 to quite neutral. This makes it very pleasing to use whether you are reading, surfing, playing games, or watching a movie.
In fact, just powering on the tablet, you'll see this on the Toshiba logo as it has a black background. It was exactly the same with both AT305's I got. And it's not something I ever experienced with any other tablet I've owned or used. Normally, this is considered a defect and swapping it out would resolve the issue. But based on my experience and countless other reviews/posts on-line, this is quite common with the AT305.

Whether you call it a defect, poor build quality, or a cheap display, it's not desirable.

BATTERY:

Just in general, when you make something smaller, you tend to make some sacrifices. In this case, it was the battery life. To test it out, I started with a fully charged battery. Then basically used it non-stop until I got down to 20% remaining, at which point we were right at 6 hours of usage. This isn't very good. Although keeping mind this is "heavy" usage. I was downloading a bunch of apps, playing games, watching movies, and even ran a benchmark or two during that time.

So I'd say heavy usage, you're looking at 7+ hours. Personally I don't like allowing the battery get much lower than 20%, so that's normally about the time I'm looking for a power cord. And yes, the power adapter is straight out of the 90's. There's no reason it needs to be that big; but it is, and I got over it.
SPEAKERS
As with the A510, the AT305 has down-firing speakers at the bottom, and there are in fact two of them (unlike the TF201). They are backed by Toshiba and SRS enhancements, which are definitely needed. If these sound enhancements are turned off, the sound is horrible. But with them on, the speakers actually sound pretty descent.


So let's wrap this one up.

I went with the Toshiba Thrive and couldn't be happier. Toshiba Thrive fast, responsive, and the Honeycomb OS is very, very slick. I can see a lot of potential in the OS and am looking forward to Ice Cream Sandwich  later this year.

Toshiba Thrive PROS

* Stable - I never experienced the sleep issue at all, but installed the fix yesterday anyway, since it offered some additional performance improvements. No issues out of the performance at all. Everything is fast and responsive. A joy to use.
* Toshiba Thrive Responsive - Honeycomb OS is very fast, clean, and customizable. Very intuitive to use (at least for me). Adding widgets, etc. is fun and easy to layout.
* Video/graphics - Videos look great in all formats, but really snap in HD. All the graphics look great, and the text in the Kindle App looks amazing. Visually stunning. Everyone that has seen it has been impressed.
* Customization - You can set up the five screens any way you want. Widgets are wonderful things! Also plugged it into my laptop and it loaded up without any problems, allowing me to copy some pictures, etc. quickly.
* Toshiba Thrive Multi-task management - The third button along the bottom left allows you to easily switch from application to application quickly. It's amazing how quickly you can get to something once you get used to using that button!
* Size - to me, this is a pro, because you feel like you're holding something and it's very easy to hold on to. You don't get the sense it's going to slip out of your hands, like you sometimes do with the iPad2. It doesn't feel cheap or cheesy, but very solid.
* Battery life - I've read some mixed reviews on this, but I get a good 7-8 hours of serious use out of it before it gets below 20%. Over nights, when sleeping, it uses 2%-4% battery life. And it does charge fast, they aren't kidding about that!

Toshiba Thrive  CONS

* The charger - Not a big deal, true, but it's a small laptop power supply, which I just find annoying to have to lug around. They should have a simple adapter you can use with the provided mini-USB to USB cable.
* Sound - Not really a big issue (and I may be missing something), but even with the volume all the way up on the device, it still sounds a little low to me using headphones. Maybe just a preference here, but I thought I should mention it. It does sound much better without the headphones on, though, but can be a little clinky and suffer from reverb on heavier tracks of music.
* Storage - not really a "con", but more of a heads-up. You won't have the full storage amount available to use. For example, if you buy the 8 GB version, you won't have 8 GB of storage to use. Honeycomb and other things (drivers, etc) take up part of that amount. Same with the 16 and 32 GB versions. Not a big deal, but I know some people are wondering why they only have 5 GB free when they bought the 8 GB version, for example.

OVERALL
A wonderful Toshiba Thrive tablet, performs great, looks great, and has impressed a couple of co-workers enough that they are going to buy one. The full USB port was the big selling point for both. This tablet has been everything I'd hoped for and more. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a tablet. This is a great first step into the tablet pool by Toshiba, I must say. Fit and finish is 100%, Very solid feel.

Gaming
Played the pre-install games and they both ran with 0 stutters and were
extremely fluid. did i purchase a a multipurpose tablet or a gaming tablet... i think the latter :)

Performance
ASUS Transformer Prime was completely fluid when changing from one screen to the next, i especially like the multi window
ASUS Transformer Prime  on the bottom left, it will allow you to select anything previously opened (and will allow you to close too)

Built in music player seemed basic and didn't appear to have the ability to download album art. I'll stick with
amazon cloud mp3 player.

Web
(subject to further testing) web browsing seemed to be a little slow, this was experienced with java enabled... with disabled performance was snappy and good
Sound
Unfortunately this is what caused me to give 4 instead of 5 stars. The audio is quite loud and clear
however only being emitted from a single speaker port does not provide the spartial/stereo sound. perhaps
blue tooth or headset will eliminate this concern.

Camera
Front facing 1.2MP camera provided acceptable image quality, however white balance should be adjusted to fully ensure quality (dont use automatic) , rear facing camera provided a good quality picture with decent focus and brightness... even in poor lighting conditions however any zoom used the image would be blurry depending upon x2 x3 etc. video mode was tested with low movement and provided a better quality .

Was very colorful and bright, 600 nits of brightness will make  ASUS Transformer Prime TF201-B1-GR Eee Pad useable outside. normal amount of backlight bleeding (almost none but there's always some). back light bleed test was performed and two hot spots were identified one on bottom and other on right side. As mentioned previously the amount of light imo is quite minimal and i've seen far worse on other items. one of my apps displayed a completely white page and there was two hot spots (white slightly brigter then the rest of the page) this may be a fluke or not... i was able to duplicate the brighter pixel, its barely noticeable however is visable on default screen in other colors... not a deal breaker its about the size of a pin head with a slight glow around it, clarification you wouldn't know its there unless i told you to look for it.

WIFI Range
two apps were used to test the wifi range speedtest (same test server) and WiFi analyzer. I've only compared the two and not a laptop.. plus my house has about 800watts of electronic interference :)

Best reception i got was 5/9 stable 4/8. Reports have been surfacing GPS isnt working or isn't working properly... When I performed the test it did find 4/8 and continued to have the searching graphic. Honestly I don't know what is normal for GPS reception with this device. Will compare against phone later.
